The Legends League Cricket (LLC) is all set to commence on January 20, with several retired cricket legends set to feature in the tournament. Although the Asian Lions had already announced their squad, there were no updates regarding the squad of the Indian Maharajas.

However, it has been reported that the likes of Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh will be representing the Indian franchise in this T20 league. According to a report by Devdiscourse, these former Indian cricketers will swear it out one more time and entertain their fans once again.

The LLC 2022 is scheduled to take place at the Al Amerat Cricket Stadium in Muscat, Oman. After the Road Safety World Series, this is the second time the fans would get to see the former Indian opener and former Indian all-rounder play again. As a matter of fact, the first game would see the Indian legends locking horns with the Asia Lions

Earlier, it was announced that Ravi Shastri would be the commissioner of the LLC. He had even mentioned the fact that he was proud to be associated with this league. The former head coach of India felt that this league, which would feature retired Indian cricketers, would be exciting and fun.

“It feels great to remain connected with cricket in the thick of the action, especially with the Legends of the game who have been champions in their own rights. It is going to be a lot of fun with some serious cricket going. These stalwarts have nothing new to prove but they have their reputation in line and I can assure you, it will be interesting to see how they do justice to it,” said Ravi Shastri

In fact, the schedule for the LLC 2022 is already out. While as earlier mentioned, it starts on January 20, the grand finale is scheduled for January 29.
