Gujarat and Delhi locked horns in the Women’s T20 League 2023 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Gujarat skipper Sneh Rana won the toss and decided to bat first. The batting lineup of Gujarat couldn’t survive strongly against the bowling lineup of Delhi; they could score only 105 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

While chasing the target, the explosive opening pair of Delhi skipper Meg Lanning and Shafali Verma’s outstanding batting heroics helped Delhi to reach the target only in 7.1 overs; eventually, they won the match by a massive margin of 10 wickets.

The fans were also ecstatic after the emphatic win of Delhi in the all-important clash of the Women’s T20 League against Sneh Rana’s girls. Batting first, the Gujarat batting lineup completely surrendered against the bowling lineup of Delhi comprising Marizanne Kapp; she claimed a remarkable five-wicket haul by conceding only 15 runs in four overs. Other than her, Shikha Pandey also scalped three wickets by conceding 26 runs in the spell of four overs.

On the back of these bowling heroics, Delhi restricted Gujarat only to the score of 105 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

While chasing the target, Delhi’s opening pair of Meg Lanning and Shafali Verma made a historic partnership of 107 runs for the first wicket to win the match for Delhi by a massive margin of 10 wickets.

Notably, it is the third win of Delhi in the four matches they played so far in the tournament. Earlier in the last match, they lost to Mumbai by a margin of eight wickets.
