Shafali Verma earns maiden Test, ODI call-ups

Youngster Shafali Verma has got her maiden call for the solitary Test and ODI series. The series is scheduled to take place in England from June 16. Indian This includes one Test, three One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and as many T20 Internationals (T20Is). The matches are going to commence in June. As anticipated Mithali Raj will lead the team for the one-off Test and three ODIs. On the other end, Harmanpreet Kaur will take over the captaincy reins during the three T20 Internationals.

The forthcoming series will begin with a single Test from June 16-19. It will be England's first Test game since the 2019 Ashes. On the other end, Team India will be featuring in their first game of the longest format since November 2014. England and India will first face each other in a four-day Test match, starting from June 16. Then both sides will lock horns in three One Day Internationals commencing from June 27. All the games are planned to be played at Bristol, Taunton, and Worcester. India and England will then face each other in three T20Is, commencing from July 9. All three T20I games will be played at Northampton, Hove, and Chelmsford.
