Pakistan shouldn't wear Afridi down by making him play each and every game: Aqib Javed

India's blue-chip bowler Jasprit Bumrah is presently taking part in the 2021 Indian Premier League, where he is representing Mumbai Indians. Shaheen Afridi plays for the Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The Pakistani seamer is currently plying his trade in the four-match T20I series against South Africa. The series is locked at 1-0 after two games at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. Javed stated that the Pakistan team management shouldn't wear Afridi down by making him play each and every game.

Earlier, Javed had also shared his views on Babar Azam and Virat Kohli. According to Javed, who has featured in 163 ODIs and 22 Tests for Pakistan, Virat Kohli has one area of weakness, whereas Azam doesn't have any. Javed also praised legendary Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar, stating that he too didn't have any area of weakness. The remarks from Javed came as Virat Kohli has failed to notch an international century in almost one and a half years. However, the Indian batsman has been in great touch and also bagged the Man of the Series award in the recently-concluded ODI series against England.
