Hardik Pandya is famous for bringing a unique element to the team with his elegant knocks. He has taken India beyond the limits on several instances ever since he made his debut in 2016. The all-round brilliance he possesses has always been an added benefit to the Indian side.

Pandya has also shown his master class in the 2016 T20 WC against Bangladesh. He scored 93 runs in 95 balls in the Test match against South Africa. His latest feats against Australia on their soil is so far the best thing about his career.

There were instances when big players like Virat Kohli and others failed. Pandya was then instrumental in taking the game by storm. In the last ODI against Australia, he smashed 90 and 92 respectively. He also played a scintillating knock of 42* in the 2nd T20I to hand over the visitors a 2-0 lead in the series.

Recently, legendary spinner Shane Warne showered praises on Pandya. The 51-year-old named Pandya as one of his top three cricketers on the planet. Warne added that he loves the all-rounder and appreciated him with words like swagger, Mr cool, and Rockstar.

I would love to see Hardik Pandya in the Indian Test Squad: Shane Warne

There are very few game-changers, and the 27-year-old Hardik is one of them. The all-rounder is hugely influential in the ODIs and Twenty20 internationals. Hardik Pandya can also add value to the Indian Test line-up. If Pandya can bowl only a handful of overs, then someone like him can be an X-factor. Pandya is very dangerous at No. 6 or 7.

The all-rounder was awarded the Man of the Series in T20Is for his 78 runs in three games at a strike rate of 156. After the heroic’s innings by Pandya, Shane Warne said the Mumbai Indians all-rounder should be included in the Test squad as well.

Pandya was a part of the ODI and T20I series only. However, with the completion of the white ball series, the fans and experts are expecting that he should be roped into the red-ball team as well. During the third T20I match, Warne said Indian fans should start a petition to get Pandya included in the Test side.

After this, an Indian fan quoted Warne in his tweet. The Australian legend was quick to respond as to why he believes Pandya deserves to be in the Indian Test side. The Border-Gavaskar Trophy will get underway from December 17 at Adelaide.
