Indian skipper and veteran opener, Rohit Sharma stunned everyone with his amazing century in the comeback Test; batting after a long hiatus from the longest format of the game. The 35-year-old played a crucial knock of 120 runs with 15 boundaries and two sixes to his name. Talking about cricket, now Rohit Sharma will be in action during the second of the four-match Test series against Australia at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Friday, the 17th of February next week. After the conclusion of the first Test at his home ground, Rohit is currently the highest run scorer in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Notably, the Nagpur-born Mumbai batter has also become the overall fourth captain in international cricket to score centuries across all formats of the game. He stands in the list after his Pakistani counterpart Babar Azam alongside Tilakaratne Dilshan (Sri Lanka) and Faf du Plessis (South Africa) as the two other names. Apart from that, Rohit is the first ever Indian skipper to achieve this feat.
He has scored 6 centuries throughout the formats of the game and also become the first-ever Indian skipper to accomplish this feat.
