After the conclusion of the first Test at his home ground, Rohit is currently the highest run scorer in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Notably, the Nagpur-born Mumbai batter has also become the overall fourth captain in international cricket to score centuries across all formats of the game. He stands in the list after his Pakistani counterpart Babar Azam alongside Tilakaratne Dilshan (Sri Lanka) and Faf du Plessis (South Africa) as the two other names.
