Shreyas Iyer's return will boost DC's chances to win the IPL trophy: Amit Mishra

Veteran spin bowler Amit Mishra feels that the return of Shreyas Iyer will immensely benefit DC in the UAE leg of IPL 2021. Shreyas Iyer was not available for DC in the 1st half of IPL 2021. Iyer incurred a shoulder injury before IPL 2021 started. Iyer is currently training at the NCA and is expected to fully recuperate before the commencement of the UAE leg of IPL 2021.

In the absence of Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant led DC in the 1st leg of the IPL this season. DC performed brilliantly under the captaincy of Pant in the 1st half of IPL 2021. Out of 8 games in the 1st leg of IPL 2021, DC managed to win an impressive 6 games in total. However, with Shreyas Iyer’s return, Rishabh Pant will no longer lead Delhi in the IPL this season.
