Cricket is a game of great camaraderie between players on and off the field. There have been many instances where players have pulled each other's legs. This makes the life of a sportsperson in general very easy. After all, they play under the immense pressure of doing well in every game. Meanwhile, India's Shubman Gill has taken a dig at KL Rahul in his Instagram story.

Apparently, in a picture posted by Gill, he was posing with the likes of Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, and Ishan Kishan. By the looks of it, the image is from the time when the players were in Zimbabwe. In the picture, the players were all smiles and looked afresh. However, the stand-in skipper for the series, Rahul was looking a little sleepy.

Gill noticed this and took the opportunity to take a dig at his senior player.

Three players from the photo won't be part of the Asia Cup

Three players from the image - Shikhar Dhawan, Ishan Kishan, and Shubman Gill won't be part of the Asia Cup, which will start on August 27. The squad was announced on August 8 and these players weren't included. Dhawan isn't part of the plans for the T20I setup. The same is the case with Shubman. Talking about Kishan, he missed out on the spot although, at one stage, he was one of the preferred opening batters in the team. On the other hand, Rahul is the vice-captain of the team.

The Men in Blue will start their campaign with a game against arch-rivals, Pakistan on August 28 in Dubai. Fans from both nations are looking forward to the clash as they are playing after the 20-20 World Cup encounter last year.

Squad: Rohit Sharma (C), KL Rahul (VC), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant(Wk), Deepak Hooda, Dinesh Karthik (Wk), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravi Bishnoi, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Avesh Khan.
