The first-ever edition of the historic Women’s T20 League is just a few hours away from kick-off with the tournament opener between Gujarat and Mumbai at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai. Although the Gujarat franchise has landed in a controversy regarding their star player Deandra Dottin.

Earlier, a few of the media reports understood that the veteran Caribbean all-rounder is reportedly ruled out of the inaugural edition of the Women’s T20 League due to an injury. But later on, Dottin herself debunked all the speculations by declaring herself completely fit and available for the tournament.

This ignited a bit of controversy and also gave a chance to a section of cricket fans to come up with some interesting reactions both for the franchise and the star all-rounder. They took to Twitter to speculate about an upcoming controversy even before the start of the tournament.
