Team India kicked off their 20-20 World Cup 2022 campaign in Melbourne against Pakistan. They won the match by four wickets. Now, on 27 October, the Men in Blue took on the Dutch in Sydney. India were looking to win their second straight match in this tournament. On the other hand, the Netherlands were coming off after tasting a defeat against Bangladesh.

So, the stage was set for both teams to do well in this clash. Speaking of the match, Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bat first. For them, the skipper and KL Rahul came out to open the innings. As both of them did not score big against Pakistan, fans were waiting to see a better performance in this match.

Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav managed an unbeaten partnership of 95 runs against the Netherlands

KL Rahul failed again as he scored only nine runs off 12 balls. But, Rohit Sharma scored 53 runs off 39 balls, including four boundaries and three sixes. Then, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav managed a partnership of 95* runs. Their innings helped India to score 179 runs for two wickets in 20 overs. Virat Kohli continued his great form as he scored 62* runs off 44 balls, including three fours and two sixes. He batted at a strike rate of 135.89. 

On the other hand, Suryakumar Yadav managed to show his class by hitting some outrageous shots. He scored 51* runs off 25 balls, at a strike rate of 204. He hit seven fours and one six in his innings. For the Dutch, only two bowlers managed to take one wicket each in the match. The Netherlands are currently struggling after scoring 27 runs for two wickets in the first six overs.  Fans also went crazy after seeing such top-class innings from both of these batters.
