'Some relief for tired legs'- Twitter salutes Iftikhar Ahmed for offering his lap to Azhar Ali

The ongoing series between Pakistan and Australia has not turned out to be as well as imagined. The first two matches ended in dull draws, and the third Test is also heading towards in the same direction. Between these matches, the players and the fans are trying their best to make this series a memorable one. And now, fans were witness of another lovely moment between Azhar Ali and Iftikhar Ahmed.

The incident happened during the drings break on the second Day when Iftikhar Ahmed, who is not part of the XI, came out to offer drinks to the players. What happened next won the hearts of many. Iftikhar then offered his lap to Azhar Ali to sit down and relax. The pictures of the lovely gesture went viral in no time.

Cricket journalist, Bharat Sundaresan tweeted the visuals of the duo. "Now that’s one way of showing some respect to your senior players. Iftikhar Ahmed offering his lap for Azhar Ali to sit on during the drinks break," he wrote in his tweet.

Meanwhile, the third Test between Australia and Pakistan is underway. Australia scored 391 runs batting first. Steve Smith, Usman Khawaja, Chris Green, and Alex Carey, all scored half-centuries. Abdullah Shafique and Azhar Ali scored half-centuries in the next innings to keep Pakistan afloat. Pakistan are 192-2 at the time of writing.
