Sourav Ganguly has some exciting news for the fans of Indian cricket. The fans are anxiously waiting for international cricket to resume in India. And the "Men in Blue" will host the English cricketers as their opponents in January. The Indian team will return to their international duties in Australia on Friday, November 27. Sourav Ganguly has declared that India and England will play five T20Is, three ODIs, and four Tests on their tour to India.

The cricket fans got the last taste of international cricket in India in January 2020. At that time, India played against Australia in three ODIs. The global COVID-19 outbreak forced all to postpone or cancel the sporting events. It included IPL 2020, which was held in the UAE this year. As the fan regard England and India amongst the best cricket teams of the world, there could be nothing better now than England and India to help continue high-level cricket in India. The management will announce the entire itinerary of England’s visit later.

Sourav Ganguly declared a plan of 12 matches between India and England. But, with the forecast of a second wave of the COVID-19 outbreak in the country, everyone needs to remain alert and check the situation constantly. The previous Indian skipper is further eager to have the IPL 2021 in India.

Sourav Ganguly mentioned that Indian players are ready to get on to the field

The Indian team has arrived in Australia on November 13. They have completed their isolation period on November 24. India and Australia start their series with the first ODI in Sydney on Friday.

“Team is in Australia, they reached on November 11 (13), they will finish quarantine today, the team is in Australia, they will be starting cricket, Australia does not have a high number of COVID cases, boys are ready to get on to the field,” the Prince of Kolkata added.
