While India won the first Test in Centurion, South Africa made an amazing comeback to win the second Test in Johannesburg. Thus, with the series currently reading 1-1, it all comes down to the third Test in Cape Town. This series decider promises to be an absolute cracker of a contest.

The visitors have a golden opportunity to win the upcoming Test and win the series. Besides, a series win in the rainbow nation has eluded them for 29 years. However, the Proteas are high on confidence after their spectacular performance in the Johannesburg Test, with their skipper Dean Elgar leading from the front.

Despite winning the previous Test, the Proteas would want an extra pacer instead of Keshav Maharaj, who has barely bowled in the series. Thus, Wian Mulder could replace the offie in the XI. As for the Asian side, they are expected to have two changes.

One of them will be of their regular skipper Virat Kohli, who is confirmed fit for the series decider. He shall be replacing Hanuma Vihari. The other change would be that of Mohammed Siraj, who will miss out as he isn't 100% fit. One of Ishant Sharma or Umesh Yadav could replace him.

Pitch Report:

The conditions at Newlands are expected to be bowling-friendly, and the pitch will quicken up as and when the game proceeds. As the conditions are expected to be lively, batting isn't going to be easy over here. Besides, the pacers will generate some extra bounce over here and thus, another low-scoring game could be on the cards.
