The pacer has been in sensational form after his international debut in the 3rd ODI at Canberra. T Natarajan snapped eight wickets in four matches against Australia. The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli, is impressed by the newcomer’s ability to deliver under pressure. Kohli stated that the seamer would be a great asset for the team heading into the forthcoming T20 World Cup.

The 29-year-old from Tamil Nadu has been sensational in the absence of Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah and delivered under pressure. The captain also added that it was good to see how Natarajan is confident of what he is doing.

The "Men in Blue" lost the third T20I by 12 runs but claimed the series 2-1. Kohli is very much impressed with the team as they didn’t give up despite missing the services of experienced players like Rohit Sharma.

India will host the T20 World Cup in October and November 2021

India is looking forward to playing their next 4-Test series against Australia, starting December 17. Virat Kohli said he is in the right mindset and waiting for the opening Day-Night game in Adelaide. He further added that being in the right attitude, he can contribute enough to the success of the team.

After being asked if Hardik Pandya will continue as a pure batting option for the Test series, Kohli answered saying the Test games will be a completely different challenge, and the management would want him to bowl.

Hardik Pandya will bring a lot of balance for the side. He is the perfect player for overseas conditions like South Africa, England, and Australia. The all-rounder can compete for more extended periods and adds a lot of balance to the team in terms of his bowling.

But even Pandya realizes that he needs to get back to peak bowling form soon. Kohli concluded by saying that Pandya himself wants to get back to bowling and make sure that he is 100% fit for the test series. His presence in the squad will be significant for those five days. The Indian team will take on Tim Paine and Co. in the four-match Test series. The first match will be starting with the day-night game at the Adelaide Oval on December 17. The first game in Adelaide Oval will be the first time India will play a pink-ball Test away from home.
