Indian pacer T Natarajan has recently undergone knee surgery. Natarajan featured in just two games in this year's IPL for SRH.

Natarajan impressed the selectors after his performance for SRH in IPL 2020

Earlier this year, T Natarajan became the first Indian cricketer to make an international debut in all three formats of the game on the same tour. He went on the tour of Australia as a net bowler. Considering team India struggled with injury on a long tour, the left-arm seamer got his chance which he grabbed with both hands. His fortunes turned around, and the pacer played all the formats of the game in a single tour. He played his first international match in the ODI series at the Manuka Oval in Canberra. After that, the speedster impressed everyone in the following three-match T20I series.

He successfully turned out the Yorkers with utter authority and came into the limelight during the ongoing series. Natarajan impressed the selectors after his performance for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2020 Indian Premier League. The Indian team management then took him in the national squad for the Australian tour. Before the Border Gavaskar series, the Indian team had Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav as their three top-notch fast bowlers.

Last year, Sunrisers Hyderabad finished third in the IPL 2020 points table. After enduring a slow start, the team won four of their last five matches to secure their place in the playoffs. However, they were defeated by Delhi Capitals.
