Ambati Rayudu who recently retired from Cricket made a shocking revelation. According to his exclusive interview with TV9 Telugu, Rayudu revealed that the Indian Cricket Board asked him to prepare for World Cup 2019. Ambati Rayudu said on TV9 Telugu, "The Indian Cricket Board officials in 2018 told me to be prepared for the 2019 World Cup".

Talking of India’s performance in the 2019 World Cup, India lost to New Zealand in the semifinals, ending their tournament early for a second consecutive time. After keeping the Kiwis to 239 runs in the first innings, Virat Kohli's team appeared to be advancing to the Grand Finale.
