Former pacer Dodda Ganesh reckoned that the selectors should have appointed Manish Pandey as captain of the Indian team. However, the management decided to name Shikhar Dhawan as the captain of the young team that will be touring the Island nation. The Chetan Sharma-headed selection committee named a 20-member squad for the Sri Lanka tour on Thursday (June 10). Considering the regular players are present in the UK for the red-ball series, the selectors have selected a young squad.
