BCCI seeks more time from ICC to take a call on hosting T20 World Cup

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has requested for more time from the ICC to take the right call on hosting the T20 World Cup. As a result, the mega-event will be held in India in the months of October and November later this year. BCCI’s decision to seek an extension was taken at the Special General Meeting (SGM) held virtually on Saturday. The BCCI has also decided that the remaining games of the IPL 2021 will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in September-October.
