Team India fully vaccinated, need to take COVID-19 tests before entering bio-bubble

Team India is currently in England preparing for the 5-match test series. According to reports, the entire Indian team has received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The United Kingdom government has lifted all the restrictions on public gatherings, but the new variant seems threatening.

India to play practice games against England’s county teams from July 20 in Durham

Before the start of the five-match series against England, Team India is likely to participate in a few intra-squad practice games. The team is expected to play against England’s county teams from July 20 in Durham. The Indian cricket team will be inside a bio-secure bubble with all the Covid-19 protocols to be followed.

All cricketers will have to undergo a series of mandatory medical tests before their practice games. COVID-19 cases have drastically risen in the United Kingdom.

The test series between India and England kicks off on August 04 in Nottingham.
