Team India is likely to begin their pre-Sri Lanka tour quarantine in Mumbai on June 14. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has asked all the players to get their RT-PCR tests done. Once the Indian contingent arrives in Sri Lanka, all the players and the support staff will have to undergo quarantine for three more days. After completing the 3-day mandatory isolation, all the players will be commencing their training session in small groups from July 2 to July 4.
After the training period, the players will be allowed to begin training in a full-fledged manner from July 06. The first ODI game of the series will be played on July 12. With Virat Kohli and the team busy in England, a young Indian cricket team will play three ODIs and as many T20Is against Sri Lanka.
