Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has deleted all his posts related to the Chennai team from the 2021 and the 2022 seasons from his Instagram profile. This has indicated that there is some rift between the two parties.

However, a Chennai team official has denied any rift with the star all-rounder. He also stated that he had no idea why Jadeja removed the posts and that it was his personal decision. "See, this is a personal call by him. We are not aware of such kinds of incidents from our side. All ok. Nothing is wrong," the source told ANI.

There have been many rumours of a rift between the two parties for a while now. Notably, during the Indian T20 League 2022, Chennai's official Instagram account unfollowed Jadeja, adding to the controversy. Many people believed a divide was developing between the franchise and one of its most ardent players.

Earlier, Ravindra Jadeja was named Chennai's captain ahead of the tournament's 15th edition. The men in yellow, on the other hand, did not have the finest run under him. They lost six of their eight games when he was in charge. As a result, he returned the captaincy to MS Dhoni in order to focus more on his game.

Now, Jadeja has also omitted to wish MS Dhoni a happy 40th birthday. He was among the first few players to wish him on social media earlier. As per the reports, we may have seen the last of the 33-year-old in the yellow jersey.

In the meantime, he had a brilliant outing in the rescheduled fifth Test match against England. He played an excellent knock of 104 runs in 194 balls when India had lost wickets in quick succession. He built a solid 222-run sixth-wicket partnership along with Rishabh Pant. This was India's best sixth-wicket stand against England. Despite these brilliant performances, England beat India by seven wickets to level the Test series 2-2. Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow were the stars of the game.
