Young England batter Harry Brook has drawn the attention of the cricketing fraternity towards him for his recent knock in the ongoing first of the two Tests against New Zealand. The 23-year-old played a brilliant knock of 89 runs off just 81 balls with a very decent Test strike rate of 109.87.
He smashed 15 boundaries and a six to his name before falling prey to Neil Wagner on the first ball of the 55th over in the first England innings. Harry Brook just batted in the seventh inning of his Test career’s fifth match and he has completed 569 runs with an outstanding average of 81.29 including three centuries to his name.

Speaking of the action of the ongoing first Test between New Zealand and England, the latter has declared the innings on the first-innings score of 325 runs for the loss of nine wickets. Other than the 89-run knock from Harry Brook, opening batter Ben Duckett also played the crucial knock of 84 runs off just 68 balls with 14 boundaries on her credit.
