Total overs to be bowled in a test should be around 450 in 5 days. (Atleast 400)
— Professor (@Bro_of_berlin) June 21, 2023
They just bowled 352 overs in 5 days which is less by 90 overs. So almost a day's overs are gone.
Toooo slow.
I think these points are useless in WTC points table...

Speaking of the sanctions imposed by the governing body of cricket, both the captains cleared their stance and accepted the sanctions. They also acknowledged that there was no need for the formality of the hearings regarding the same. Due to the sanctions, the winners of the first Test of the new cycle of 2023-25, Australia will be losing the 2 WTC points and they’ll have to settle themselves with the 10 points.
“Players are fined 20 percent of their match fee for every over their side fails to bowl in the allotted time,” reads the Article 2.22 of the code of conduct of the governing body of cricket.
“Sides are penalized one point for each over short. Consequently, two World Test Championship points will be deducted from both teams’ points total,” states Article 16.11.2 of the World Test Championship playing conditions.
