'That's an interesting one down the line and...' - The dominant WWE star makes big statement on potential face-off with WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns

The current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has come across a couple of face-offs in the last few years that his future rivals can’t be predicted so easily. But is very much possible that The Tribal Chief could engage in a very all-important clash against another dominant star in the WWE universe.

Here, we’re talking about none other than the Intercontinental Champion in WWE Raw, Gunther. He is on the edge of creating history being just a few weeks away from having the longest reign since the title has been introduced in the WWE universe.

The Ring General is anticipated to have a potential big clash against Roman Reigns in the ‘not-so-distant future’. He also talked about the same during an interview with Steve Fall of WrestlingNewsCo on Ten Count.

Here's what Gunther said on a clash with Roman Reigns

"I think that's an interesting one down the line too. I think right now we're very far apart from each other in what we have to do on different brands. Roman is in this never seen before title reign and I'm in the midst of making history. So once that's all said and done, we'll see if that's going to happen," said Gunther while talking about his possible bout against The Tribal Chief.

In the end, overall, I think it was a very important night for me in my career because it was very unexpected, so I think I rebounded very well from that, and we'll see what happens at the next Royal Rumble," he added later.

Notably, Gunther was the last man to be eliminated during the Royal Rumble 2023 before Cody Rhodes won the historic event to face Roman Reigns during WrestleMania 39. He was the only wrestler who entered as the first entrant and ended up finishing the entire match; he also broke the record for the longest time in the Royal Rumble by spending 70 minutes in the ring.
