The T20 World Cup 2021 is set to start in October. UAE is expected to host the tournament. Previously, India was set to host the T20 World Cup 2021. However, owing to increasing COVID-19 cases in India, a change in venue was imminent. Every nation participating in the T20 World Cup 2021 will be eager to win the trophy this year. That said, here are the 3 favorites to win the T20 World Cup this year:

India

India is certainly the favorite to win the T20 World Cup this year. The Men in Blue have played quite a lot of T20 cricket in the UAE conditions recently. UAE hosted the 13th edition of the IPL. Furthermore, UAE will also host the remainder of the 14th edition of the IPL. Hence, Indian players will definitely have plenty of time to adapt to the pitch conditions in the UAE. India also has a lot of depth in their T20I squad. The Men in Blue will surely be a force to reckon with in the T20 World Cup 2021.

West Indies

The defending champions are also a favorite to win the T20 World Cup 2021. Kieron Pollard will lead the West Indian T20I side in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
