The IPL 2020 is done and dusted, with the Mumbai Indians clinching the title for a record 5th time. We came across some incredible uncapped talent, who displayed how good they can be with the bat and the ball.

A team comprising just the best-uncapped players could do wonders against any IPL side. Here we list out a possible XI made of uncapped players only:

Ruturaj Gaikwad (CSK)

Gaikwad smashed 204 in just 6 games, hitting 3 consecutive half-centuries in the process. This CSK batsman would be the opening batsman for this XI.

Devdutt Padikkal (RCB)

Padikkal instantly rose through the ranks, hitting 473 runs in 15 matches. He is also the highest run-scorer among the RCB batsmen, beating Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers. Such an amazing batsman deserves a spot in this XI.

Suryakumar Yadav (MI)

The Mumbai Indians batsman was a hit among fans, smashing 480 runs in IPL 2020. He finished seventh in the list of highest run-scorers in the IPL. He comes at number 3.

Ishan Kishan (MI)

Ishan Kishan was Mumbai’s standout performer this season, hitting the most sixes (30) this season. He is also Mumbai’s top run-getter, with an astounding 516 runs in just 14 matches. This team would be incomplete without Ishan Kishan.

Rahul Tewatia (RR)

Rahul quickly became a force to reckon with when he smashed 5 sixes in a match-winning innings against KXIP. The perfect all-rounder, Tewatia scored 255 runs in 11 matches and also picked up 10 wickets.

Abdul Samad (SRH)

This 19-year-old power hitter can smash balls out of the park with relative ease. His strike rate of 170.76 speaks volumes about his ability to hit a ball.

Shivam Mavi (KKR)

This 21-year-old displayed some disciplined bowling performances throughout the season. Overall, he managed to grab 9 wickets in 8 games and is an asset for every team he plays for.

Arshdeep Singh (KXIP)

His match-winning performance against SRH, where he picked up 3 wickets for 14 runs, shows how talented Arshdeep Singh is. He is the bowling partner of Mohammad Shami and has shown on many occasions why he can be a deadly weapon.

T Natarajan (SRH)

From mastering the yorker to sending AB de Villiers back to the pavilion, T Natarajan has done it all. He earned a spot in the Indian Team for its tour of Australia after Varun Chakravarthy was declared injured.

Varun Chakravarthy (KKR)

Chakravarthy took the only 5 wicket haul of the season, grabbing 21 wickets in the season’s entirety. An economy of just 6.84 shows how invaluable he was for his team. He earned his maiden call-up from the Indian National team only to be unluckily injured.
