I have no personal issue with Mohammad Amir: Misbah-ul-Haq

Mohammad Amir had announced his retirement from all forms of the game on December 17, 2020. The pacer claimed that he did not get the respect he deserved from the existing team management. As a result, the 29-year-old decided to stay away from the international circuit. While Mohammad Amir has stayed away from international cricket, the pacer has been playing regularly in the T20 tournaments. Mohammed Amir is currently playing for the Karachi Kings in Pakistan Super League 2021. The second phase of the sixth season of the Pakistan Super League began on June 9 in Abu Dhabi. After the completion of PSL, he will join Kent in this season's Vitality Blast. The 29-year-old will also be a part of the maiden edition of The Hundred later this year.

Mohammad Amir has played international cricket for Pakistan under the captainship of Misbah-ul-Haq's. The pacer had also bowled brilliantly for Pakistan and helped the side win the Champions Trophy in 2017. However, his injuries had an impact on the seamers' performance from 2018 onwards. Soon, Mohammad Amir lost his spot in the playing XI. Misbah-ul-Haq was not able to understand why the fast bowler felt the Pakistan team management had no respect for him.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Cricket Board has announced their squads for the upcoming series against England and West Indies. After the conclusion of PSL 6, the national players will depart for the UK for the white-ball series. The Babar Azam-led side is scheduled to play 3 ODIs and as many T20Is against England from July 8 to 20.
