Cricket is called a gentleman's game, but that is not always the case. Sometimes players cross a line and find themselves in a rift. Krunal Pandya and Deepak Hooda have some issues and that is not a piece of new news. Lucknow in the Indian T20 mega auction purchased both these players and has given a rise to a lot of memes all over the internet.
Before the start of the 2021 season of the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy, the two in question were reported to have a rift. Hooda claimed in a mail written to the Baroda Cricket Association that Krunal abused him and threatened him during a practice session. As a result, Hooda backed out of the Baroda team.
Lucknow now has both players in their squad. Hooda was bought for 5.75 crores and Pandya was roped in at 8.25 crores. Meanwhile, the situation brought a meme fest on Twitter as fans reacted to the tricky situation of both players.
