'Their interests and all that are very...' - Mooen Ali makes huge remark as he compares MS Dhoni and Eoin Morgan

The veteran CSK all-rounder Moeen Ali has come up with a comparison between former Indian skipper MS Dhoni and former England skipper Eoin Morgan. Notably, Dhoni is currently leading the Chennai Super Kings in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League 2023, probably for the last time. Whereas, Eoin Morgan had also led Kolkata Knight Riders in the past during the IPL.

Meanwhile, Moeen Ali recently talked about the captaincy skills of MS Dhoni and Eoin Morgan; he went on to say that both the World Cup winner skippers are on the same page while leading the side except for one difference and that is Morgan’s skills while leading the side.

"They're very similar in how clear and calm they are, but also very different. Their interests and all that is very different. The biggest difference? MS does most of his captaincy on gut feel, on the day,” said Mooen Ali to ESPNcricinfo.

"It could be a bit like that with Morgs too, but he was also very data-driven. But they're both so calm. In terms of mannerisms, they are very, very, very similar,” he added later.

Later on, Mooen Ali also talked about discussing things with MS Dhoni and lavished praises on the three-time international trophy-winner skipper’s humility despite such a huge following in the cricketing world.

"The best way I could describe MS is that he's a very normal person. Obviously, he has a massive following but there's no big-headedness or anything like that. He's very humble. You can talk to him about anything… he's just as you see him on TV: approachable, calm,” concluded Moeen Ali.

Notably, Moeen Ali will be in action with Chennai Super Kings in their fifth match in the tournament. The yellow outfits will play this 24^th match of the Indian Premier League against Royal Challengers Bangalore today at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
