The star Indian batting sensation and World number one T20I batter Suryakumar Yadav has made a stunning comeback in the ongoing edition of the IPL 2023 after enduring a tough phase at the beginning of the tournament. He played a crucial role in the win of Mumbai Indians against Royal Challengers Bangalore in their last match yesterday at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Suryakumar Yadav smashed a swashbuckling knock of 83 runs off just 35 balls with seven boundaries and six sixes to his name in the run chase of the massive target of 200 runs posted by RCB. He also won the ‘Player of the Match award for his batting heroics and match-defining knock in favour of the five-time champions.

Meanwhile, the former Mumbai Indians pacer and World Cup-winning Indian star, Zaheer Khan has come up with a big statement while analyzing the current form of the 32-year-old sensational Mumbai Indians batter. He lavished the praise on SKY and also felt that it is quite ‘impossible’ for the opponent bowlers to ‘stop’ him owing to his current batting form.

“They need to hold his bat from behind or hold his legs, he’s been batting like that. There was a tough phase but when he found his rhythm, the good became even better. This will never be good news for the bowlers,” said Zaheer Khan on JioCinema.

“The way he bats and the way he approaches it, no field placement can help them. Every time I see them play, it seems like the bowlers are trying to bowl outside the off-stump, pack the side with four players, and SKY is still hitting fours and you cannot stop this,” he added later.

Notably, Suryakumar Yadav has made an unbelievable entry in the top 10 highest run-scorers in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League 2023 with an outstanding comeback with the bat. He has scored 376 runs so far while batting in 10 innings of the 11 matches he played so far with a decent average of 34.18 having four half-centuries to his name.
