The third T20I date between the Indian women’s and England women’s teams has been changed due to broadcasting issues. The match was scheduled to be held at Cloudfm County Ground in Chelmsford. It has been rescheduled to 14th July.

India and England would clash in a one-off Test match in Bristol. The match would start on 16th June. This would be the team’s first Test match in seven years. After the red-ball game, both sides would play against each other in three ODIs and three T20IS matches.

On Twitter, England Cricket announced that the last game of the tour would take place on July 14th instead of the 15th.

The Indian women’s team is scheduled to fly to England on June 2

They are currently undergoing a strict quarantine in Mumbai ahead of the tour. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) arranged for Charter flights to bring the players to Mumbai. The step was taken to keep the safety of players. This would be the women’s team's 1st overseas tour since the beginning of the pandemic last year.

Ramesh Powar would have to coach the team for the England tour. It would be his first assignment of the second term. He had coached the women’s team before as well. But was replaced by WV Raman due to an issue with Mithali Raj. Powar got reappointed as the head coach for the women’s last week.

The women’s team had to suffer a huge setback in South Africa. They were completely thrashed by their opponents. The Indian team went down 1-4 in the ODIs. They lost the shortest format by 1-2.
