'This is fire': Mumbai add destructive Tim David to star studded team

The most successful franchise in the history of Indian T20 League, Mumbai was silent for most of the mega auction. The only major buy on day one for them was Ishan Kishan, and now they are a great team already. They got Jofra Archer in the accelerated auction first and then roped in Tim David for 8.25 crores.

Hailing from Singapore, Tim David has played in major T20 leagues across the world like the Big Bash League and the Pakistan Super League. He scored 58 runs in his debut game in the BBL and has a strike rate of close to 159 in all T20 cricket. His presence in the team will give a good finishing option to Mumbai.

There has been a mix of reactions to his selection.  Many are extremely happy to see him wear the blue and gold jersey, while others feel he is overpriced. Some even suggested that he would be a good replacement for Hardik Pandya. Most of the reactions on the internet were positive. It will be interesting to see him finish games along with Kieron Pollard.
