The Indian T20 League 2022 has now approached its business end. While Gujarat have already made it to the final, Bangalore, Rajasthan, and Lucknow will fight for the other place. In the meantime, the cash-rich league saw some great individual performances.

As a matter of fact, many players who were expected to fail also had a great time this season. All these players played a crucial role for their respective teams. Here are the players who surprisingly played well in Indian T20 League 2022.

Dinesh Karthik- Bangalore

Playing for the Bangalore team, Dinesh Karthik has had a fantastic season. The wicket-keeper had been assigned the role of finisher, which he played brilliantly. He has scored 287 runs with an average of 57.4 in 14 matches this season. He also has a 191.3 strike rate.

With this performance, the 36-year old also earned a comeback in the Indian team for the upcoming series against South Africa. Notably, he had not been a part of the Indian team for a while, and was not performing in the tournament as well. However, he scripted a memorable fairytale during this season.

David Miller- Gujarat

David Miller has been around the Indian T20 League for a while, but he did not have many noteworthy performances in the last few editions. This season, however, he turned his game around completely. The South African gave consistent performances for the Gujarat team in the middle order.

He also played a massive role in helping his team reach the final. In 15 matches this season. Miller has scored 449 runs at an average of 64.14. He also has a decent strike rate of 141.

Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep Yadav had been warming the bench for Kolkata until the last season. However, he proved to be a great addition to the Delhi team this season. The leggie got great results and played with consistency. In 14 appearances for the team, he took 21 wickets, and was in contention for the purple cap for a while.

Yadav took two four-wicket hauls this season as well. Based on his performance this season, the 27-year old also earned his comeback in the Indian team.
