Suresh Raina has been one of the best performers in the Indian T20 League's history. His run with Chennai has been admirable as he has given the franchise his all. He was let go of the team ahead of the mega auction due to the limit on retentions and is now available for the teams to buy.

In all the seasons that he has played, Suresh Raina played for two teams, Chennai and Gujarat. He played for Gujarat when Chennai was banned for two years in 2016 and 2017 but was bought back by Chennai in 2018. He is the fourth-highest run-scorer of all-time in the tournament. In the 205 matches that he has played, Suresh Raina has scored over 5500 runs. He has a century and as many as 39 half-centuries to his name.
