In the upcoming season of the Men's Indian T20 League, there will be quite a few players uncapped Indian players in action. During the mini-auction last December, all 10 teams picked some unknown commodities. The tournament will start on March 31 this year, with the defending champions, Gujarat playing Chennai at home. Meanwhile, during the league, there will be players who would look to make their mark.

These players have done the hard yards in the Indian domestic circuit. Also, some of them were part of different teams before but didn't get opportunities to showcase their talent. This time around, they have been signed by a different team and they would hope for much more chances than in the past. In this listicle, we will discuss three players who might surprise all during the 16th season.

1. Mayank Dagar

The former India U19 player was part of the Punjab side in 2018 that had one big name, i.e Yuvraj Singh. However, the former didn't play in a single game. Five years after this, he has been picked by the 2016 winners, Hyderabad.

Talking about Dagar's domestic T20 numbers, he has played 44 games and has taken as many wickets. The left-arm spinner has an astonishing average (21.70) and an economy rate (6.17).

2. Narayan Jagadeesan

The Tamil Nadu player will play for two-time winners, Kolkata in the upcoming season. He was part of the Chennai squad last year but played only a few games. Meanwhile, he made his name as he scored 277 runs in a List A game last year.

The right-hander did well in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy. With the Purple brigade looking for an explosive batter, the team might look to give him most of the game during the league phase.

3. Akash Vashist

The Himachal Pradesh player has been signed by the 2008 winners, Rajasthan. Despite playing only limited games since making his First Class in late 2014, the all-rounder has been consistent with the bat and ball across formats.

The team is in need of good Indian middle-order batters who can bowl as well. Akash might go on to play a lot of games.
