Tickets open to sale in Women's T20 League, special privileges for women spectators

In one of the biggest decisions, the Indian Cricket Board has decided to come up with new announcement regarding tickets of Women's T20 League

Women’s T20 League 2023 is just around the corner and is set to start on Saturday, the 4th of March with the first match between Gujarat Women and Mumbai Women. Prior to that, the Indian Cricket Board and Women’s T20 League announced the ticket sale opening for the first-ever edition of this historic franchise T20 league for women’s cricket.

Meanwhile, in one of the biggest decisions, the Indian Cricket Board has decided to make entry free for the women’s audience in the matches of the Women’s T20 League. The tournament will consist of 22 matches throughout the season including tickets at very low prices for the men spectators.

Apart from that, the five participating teams are all ready to go ahead with their full-fledged squads after the auction for the first edition. Four out of these five teams have also announced their captains for the season. Star Australian players, Ashleigh Gardner, and Alyssa Healy will be leading the teams of Gujarat Women and UP Women respectively. Apart from that the Indian star, Harmanpreet Kaur will be the skipper of Mumbai Women alongside Bangalore’s captain Smriti Mandhana.
