Star Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah and Indian Cricket Board itself, are on the receiving end of the hard and fast-lined trolls from a section of the Indian cricket fans. It all started after the recent media reports that suggest the Indian Cricket Board is yet to take any decision on Bumrah’s comeback to the national side of Team India.

“India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is set to miss Indian T20 League 2023 after being given the option of undergoing back surgery. Bumrah is yet to completely recover from the back injury which had ruled him out of the 20-20 World Cup last year, and he could also possibly miss the Test Championship final (if India qualifies), which starts on June 7 at The Oval,” reads a report published by ESPNCricinfo.

“A final decision on the next step is expected to be taken soon by the BCCI in coordination with the NCA and Bumrah, keeping in mind the ODI World Cup is scheduled in October-November in India,” it adds further.

However, this uncertain approach of the Indian Cricket Board didn’t really go down well with a section of the Indian cricket fans. They immediately took the micro-blogging site Twitter and called out the Board and also talked about the other options if Bumrah isn’t available due to the injury.

Here’s how fans reacted:

Notably, Bumrah is not in action in international cricket for a long due to the stress fracture that he sustained even before the Asia Cup 2022. Later on, he also missed the 20-20 World Cup 2022 followed by bilateral assignments against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Currently, the Ahmedabad pacer is also missing from the ongoing four-Test Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia.

Speaking of the Indian team, they are currently leading the four-match Test series by a margin of 2-0 owing to the amazing wins in the first and second Test played in Nagpur and Delhi, respectively.
