The news was about Kohli’s earnings from his social media posts, specifically the photo-sharing platform, Instagram. The reported news showed a stat which read that the former skipper’s earnings per Instagram post has increased from 8 Crore INR to 11.45 Crores INR.

Virat Kohli clears the air over rumours about his earning

“While I am grateful and indebted to all that I’ve received in life, the news that has been making rounds about my social media earnings is not true (with an emoji of folded hands),” read the tweet posted by Virat Kohli, while denying the news of his reported 11.45 Crores INR earning per Instagram post.

Talking about cricket, Kohli will now be in action with Team India during the upcoming Asia Cup 2023. The 16th edition of the continental tournament will be hosted jointly by Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The Men in Blue, under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, will start their campaign in the tournament with their first match against the arch-rivals, Pakistan.

Coming back to Virat Kohli, he was in brilliant form during the two-match Test series against West Indies. Later, he didn’t come to bat in all three ODIs against West Indies.
