The World Champion former legendary Indian skipper MS Dhoni attended a special event in Chennai on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of the historic World Cup 2011 win of Team India. He was felicitated with some special presents by the Digital head of the cricket’s governing body Finn Bradshaw and Anshum Bhambri, FanCraze founder.
Later on, Mahi was in conversation with the host Sanjana Ganesan and former Aussie great Mike Hussey. During this conversation, he revealed the special and very memorable moment from the final, interestingly, he didn’t mention winning and lifting the trophy but it was something else.
"The best feeling was 15-20 minutes (before the winning moment), we didn’t need a lot of runs, the partnership was well-placed, and there was a lot of dew,” said Dhoni while starting the conversation.

While summing up his remarks, the former skipper also talked about the mental state he was in at that moment when India was about to create history after a long wait of 28 years.
“To me, it was not the winning moment, it was 15-20 minutes ago when emotionally I was very high. And at the same time, I wanted to get done with it. We knew that we will win this from here, and it was very difficult for us to lose,” he concluded.
Notably, Dhoni is currently in action with the Chennai franchise in the ongoing edition of the Indian T20 League where they will face Lucknow on Monday at their home ground MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
