Shubman Gill

There are a lot of excellent young Indian players waiting in the wings for their chance to shine. But Shubman Gill has set himself apart through his achievements in a short time He is very new to international cricket, having played just 7 Test matches. The public became aware of him after his knock in the 2018 ICC U-19 World Cup. He had scored 372 runs at an average of 124. Thereby, he was given the man of the tournament award.

Back home, he did not stop scoring runs and made a name for himself in the IPL. Gill is considered a classy batsman in the mould of Virat Kohli. In 2019 he had received his first call up to Test Squad after averaging more than 75 runs in first-class cricket. But he could not make his debut until the 2020 Australia tour.

The 91 runs Gill made at the Gabba had helped India chase down 328 runs in the last innings. Thereby, India had won the test 2-1 against all odds. Moreover, Shubman Gill got instant stardom after scoring the big runs in that series.

Will Pucovski

Australian batsman Will Pucovski is considered the future of Australian batting after playing just 1 Test match. It is because of the way he excelled in the challenge of the Sheffield Shield.

Pucovski averages well over 50 in first-class cricket and has the qualities of a good Test player. He has a compact technique with perfectly executed Strokes and the right attitude to survive against any bowling attack. Moreover, he has a healthy appetite for runs.

Pucovski’s attributes helped him give a good performance in his much-awaited test debut. In the first innings of his debut match, he made 62 runs and solidified his position within the team.
