Team India is very confident ahead of the Test series against England, after defeating Australia in the Border Gavaskar Series. The "Men in Blue" will host England in a four-match Test series, starting February 05. Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who had to miss the last three Tests against Australia, will return to the squad.

Former Test specialist Rahul Dravid leads the list of batsmen with the highest number of Test centuries against England.

Rahul Dravid leads the list of Indian batsmen with the highest number of Test centuries against England. Dravid scored seven centuries against England throughout his remarkable career. Dravid featured in 164 Test matches, scoring 13,000 runs. Against England, Dravid scored 1950 runs in 21 games at an average of over 60.

Sachin Tendulkar - 7 centuries

India's legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar has the same number (7) of Test centuries as Dravid against the England cricket team. He's still the leading run-scorer in the history of Test cricket. The opening batsman is also India's leading run-getter against England with 2535 runs in Tests.

Mohammad Azharuddin - 6 centuries

Veteran Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin is third. He has smashed six centuries in 15 Test matches. Azharuddin also scored 1278 runs at an average of over 58. This also includes six hundreds and three half-centuries.

Cheteshwar Pujara - 5 centuries

Cheteshwar Pujara is placed fourth on the list. The right-handed batsman has scored five centuries in 18 matches against the English side. Pujara has an outstanding record against England with 1339 runs in 18 Tests. For the upcoming series, the middle-order batsman will be one of the crucial players for Team India.

Virat Kohli - 5 centuries

Indian skipper Virat Kohli is currently one of the best batsmen in the world. The 33-year-old is fifth on the list. Kohli slammed five centuries in 19 matches against England. He also scored 1570 runs at an average of 49.06.
