The auction for the inaugural edition of the historic Women’s T20 League took place in the Jio Convention Centre in Mumbai yesterday, the 13th of February. A few of the bids included the likes of Smriti Mandhana and star Australian all-rounder Ellyse Perry. Both the stars had been roped in by the Bangalore franchise of the Women’s T20 League.
Whereas there were a few star players who went unsold and it went completely surprising with the fans.
