'Top player, top innings'- Twitter goes wild as Jos Buttler smashes magnificent ton against Mumbai

In the encounter between Mumbai and Rajasthan, Jos Buttler gave Rajasthan a perfect start. After losing the toss, Rajasthan had to get to a good total in the match. Jos Buttler took the responsibility and went after bowlers from the word go. He reached his second century in the Indian T20 League to help Rajasthan post 193-8.

Buttler was the architect of the innings, but he got support from Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer. He scored 100 in 68 balls hitting 11 fours and five sixes in the innings. He played shots all across the park. Buttler hit 26 runs in a single over from Basil Thampi, which was evidence of the storm that was about to come.

Shimron Hetmyer too scored a quick 35 in just 14 balls. He hit three sixes and three fours in his innings to support Buttler. Meanwhile, Sanju Samson was the anchor of the innings as he scored 30 in 21 balls, hitting a four and three sixes.

Jos Buttler gained the orange cap with this century, leaving Andre Russell behind in the chase. He became the first centurion of this season, and Twitter had some of the best reactions to it.
