Rajasthan crushed Mumbai with a 23-run win in the 9th match of the Indian T20 League. After winning the toss, Mumbai elected to bowl first. Rajasthan got off to a great start after being sent in to bat first, thanks to Buttler's excellent form. He smacked bowlers all over the place. Buttler scored 26 runs in a single over against Basil Thampi to show what was about to come. He went on to hit 100 in 68 balls, helping Rajasthan to 193. He hit 11 fours and five sixes in his innings. Buttler had the help of Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer, who scored 30 off 21 and 35 of 14.

Mumbai's Jasprit Bumrah and Tymal Mills grabbed three wickets each to keep Rajasthan to a modest score. They could have easily surpassed 210 if it hadn't been for these two.

Mumbai lost two quick wickets in their chase but Ishan Kishan and Tilak Verma kept them in the game with a partnership of 81.

Before being dismissed, each player had a half-century to their name. Just as when it looked like Mumbai had the game in control, they lost wickets in heaps. It was now up to Kieron Pollard, the Big Man, to finish the job.

In the end, Mumbai fell short of its target and lost the match by 23 runs. The two wickets for Yuzvendra Chahal in the 16th over were extremely beneficial to the Rajasthan team as they disturbed Mumbai's game flow. Meanwhile, several memes circulated on social media after the match.
