Former Indian captain Virat Kohli has been facing a lot of problems to get into the form in recent times. His poor form has continued in the Indian T20 League 2022 as well. In Bangalore's ongoing game against Hyderabad, Virat Kohli was dismissed for a golden duck.

Hyderabad took an unexpected decision to bowl Jagadeesha Suchith's first over. This strategy worked out well for them. The first ball he bowled was full on to the stump, which Virat flicked right into the hands of the fielder at mid-wicket. Virat was disappointed with his shot and was in disbelief when he returned to the dressing room. Notably, this was his third golden duck of the season, and the second against Hyderabad.

Overall, Virat has scored 216 runs in 12 matches this season, including one half-century. His strike rate of 111 has not been impressive either. Looking at the veteran cricketer's form, many have suggested that he should take a break from the game for a while.

Returning to the game, Faf du Plessis and Rajat Patidar handled the situation brilliantly. Throughout the powerplay, they played a smart game, scoring 47 runs in the first six overs. The team will look to set a good total to be able to defend it later on.
