The Indian T20 League is incomplete without the Chinna Thala, Suresh Raina. The 35-year old went unsold in the mega auction concluded in March, which left everyone heartbroken. The fans, however, have something to cheer about as Raina is all set to make his comeback, not as a player but commentator.
There were rumours of him and Ravi Shastri joining Star Sports' Hindi commentary team. The broadcasting partners of the Indian T20 League has now confirmed that the news is indeed true. This will be the first time that Suresh Raina will try his hands on commentary. Ravi Shastri, on the other hand, has great experience in broadcasting and commentary.

Suresh Raina entered the 2022 mega auction but saw no bids coming his way. Even Chennai was not interested in buying back their star batter. The fans were disappointed after Chennai let Raina pass. The news of Raina joining the commentary team elated the fans who celebrated the news on Twitter.
