The senior Indian pacer Umesh Yadav and his wife Tanya have been blessed with a baby girl on the auspicious occasion of Women’s Day, today, the 8th of March. Notably, the baby girl is the second child for the couple. They shared a picture on Instagram announcing the arrival of the newborn with the caption, “It’s a baby girl.”
Although things aren’t going well with Umesh in his personal life as he lost his father just a few days before the third Test against Australia. The newborn has come up as a new hope for the Yadav couple amidst the time of crisis.
Owing to all this, the 35-year-old is likely to miss the fourth and last of the four-match Test series at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In the absence of Umesh, it seems that the Indian team management might go ahead with Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj in the playing XI of the last Test.
Recently, Umesh was a part of the Indian playing XI against the Aussies in the third of the four-match Test series in Indore. He amazed everyone with the amazing spell of three wickets by conceding just 12 runs in 5 overs.
Talking about the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy; the hosts India are currently leading the series by a margin of 2-1 after an embarrassing loss against Australia in Indore Test. Now, both teams will lock horns in the Ahmedabad Test from tomorrow i.e., the 9th of March.
Here’s a look at the predicted playing XI of India for the fourth Test against Australia:
Rohit Sharma (C), Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, KS Bharat, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohammed Shami, and Mohammed Siraj.
Following the conclusion of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, the men in blue will take on Australia in the three-match ODI series.
