Pakistan Cricket Board chief Najam Sethi has dropped a bombshell in the Pakistan cricketing corridors with his latest statement on Babar Azam’s captaincy of the national side. Notably, the current skipper has been under the scanner for the last couple of months due to the consistent downfall in the performance of Pakistan at the highest level of the game.

“Babar Azam came to see me today. I told him he would lead the ODI and T20I national teams against New Zealand. And then PCB announced the squads. So, all those who were spreading fake fears are out of jobs today,” wrote Najam Sethi in a recent tweet from his official Twitter handle.
