Indian cricketers and Bollywood personalities have been linked together for as long as we can remember, and it is the same these days as well. Currently, the spotlight seems to be on actress Urvashi Rautela and her connection with Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant.

About a month ago, Rautela disclosed during an interview that a ‘Mr. RP’ had waited for her in the lobby of her hotel for hours, but she had been unable to meet him. Cricket fans immediately associated those initials with Pant, especially since the two had been linked together previously. In response, Pant posted a firm response on his Instagram story, saying that people do anything to get attention and requesting to be left alone.

However, the matter does not seem to be leaving either of the two alone, with the story throwing up new developments every now and then. In a recent video shared by Instant Bollywood, a reporter at an event asked her if she had anything to say to Pant, to which she replied, “All I want to say is nothing. Sorry, I’m sorry.”

The video gained prominence online, with viewers speculating that this was meant as an apology to Rishabh Pant. However, Rautela has since clarified her remarks, stating that her apology was directed at her fans and loved ones because she did not have an answer to the question. The clarification was delivered via an Instagram story on Wednesday.

“These days official news articles and so called meme pages (worst marketers) are more scripted than movies or a tv show !!! That sorry was for my fans & loved ones that I had nothing to say…. #WhyTheNewIsNotTheTruth #falsemisleadinglight #greatscript #FactsAreNotCopyrightable,” said Rautela on her Instagram story.
