Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021: Pradeep Sangwan to lead Delhi

Left-arm pacer Pradeep Sangwan is selected as the Delhi team captain for the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy. He was picked as the skipper ahead of India's opening batsman Dhawan. Although he is a part of the 22-member squad, the reason behind not naming him as captain is that he is likely to be unavailable after the tournament's first week. The left-handed batsman is going to be a part of India's team which will play against England in five T20Is and three ODIs. All five matches in the shortest format of the game will take place at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad.
